🎓 Academic Requirements – Centennial College
1. For Undergraduate (Certificate / Diploma / Degree) programmes:
Applicants from Nepal must have completed 12 years of schooling (NEB Grade 12 or equivalent) with official academic transcripts and credential evaluation (e.g., WES/ICAS). A minimum overall average of 50–60% is generally expected, depending on the program and any subject prerequisites. Some programs may require specific Grade 12 courses such as English or math. Alternatively, one year of successful university study in Nepal may also be considered for eligibility.
2. For Postgraduate (Graduate Certificate / Fast‑Track) programmes:
Applicants must hold a recognized diploma or Bachelor’s degree from Nepal or an international institution with second division (approximately 50–55%) or above. For some graduate certificate or fast‑track programs, Centennial may consider applicants with a partial degree (minimum two years) plus relevant work experience.
3. English Language Requirement:
Applicants from Nepal must demonstrate English proficiency. The generally accepted minimum scores are:
IELTS (Academic): 6.0 overall (no band less than 5.5) for most diploma and certificate programs.
IELTS 6.5 (no band less than 6.0) is often expected for degree and some graduate certificate programs.
PTE Academic: minimum 51+ (higher for degree/PG).
TOEFL iBT: minimum 80+ (with acceptable section scores).
Duolingo English Test: accepted at competitive score levels.
Other approved English tests (CAEL, ITEP, etc.) are also accepted.
📌 Note: Centennial College also offers English Language Skills Assessment and placement tests for applicants; meeting English entry criteria may involve passing these in addition to or instead of external test scores.
