🎓 Academic Requirements – Trinity Western University (Canada)
1. For Undergraduate (Bachelor’s) programmes:
Applicants from Nepal must have completed 12 years of schooling (NEB Grade 12 or equivalent) with official transcripts showing graduation. A minimum academic performance (equivalent to a GPA of about 2.7 or ~70%) is generally required for direct entry into degree programs. Students with lower English scores may be eligible for pathways like University First Year (U1) with support.
2. For Postgraduate (Master’s) programmes:
Applicants must hold a recognized Bachelor’s degree from Nepal or an international institution. Most graduate programs (e.g., MA or MBA) require a competitive academic record, often evaluated through your degree GPA and additional program‑specific criteria.
3. English Language Requirement:
Because instruction is in English, applicants from Nepal must demonstrate proficiency through recognized tests. For undergraduate programs, an IELTS (Academic) score of 6.5 (minimum 6.0 in each band) or TOEFL iBT 88+ (with minimum section scores) is required; alternative tests like PTE Academic (65+), CAEL 70+, Duolingo 120+, or equivalent are also accepted. For graduate Master’s programs, higher scores are expected (e.g., IELTS 7.0–7.5, TOEFL iBT 100+ or equivalent).
